Joined Awaz FM almost 25 years ago it was my dream from teenage to be a broadcaster or tv host. I have done Masters in Journalism from Karachi University and launched Scotland's first ever Urdu local newspaper " Sada e Asia " as an Editor In chief in 1992 .I have passion of writing Urdu poetry and attend poetry events all over the world have written and published three poetry books " Udaas Galion Main " , " Dil Ki Nagri Main " and Abhi Thehro " , my fourth book is under process based on the Urdu translation of Scottish National poet Robert Burns poems , won the Best Female Poet of UK award twice in 2021.
